Monograph Assistant Editor EOI

Dear Drama Australia Members,

Drama Australia publishes one to two Monographs each year.  The intention of the Monograph series was to describe and critique different approaches to educational practice, consider future directions in scholarship and research, and present a variety of curricular models that teachers and students have found successful.

The production of each Monograph is managed by the Drama Australia Director of Research & Monographs, currently Dr Rachael Jacobs.

Drama Australia is seeking expressions of interest from members who wish to be considered as the Drama Australia Assistant Editor for the Monographs for the remainder of 2017.

The Assistant Editor should be a Drama Australia member (or someone willing to join their affiliated state association) who has exceptional copy-editing and written communication skills, is able to learn to use Chicago Author-Date referencing style, has a keen eye for detail and confidence in sending professional emails to members of our community. This role would suit someone interested in academic publishing or future scholarly editing roles, and someone who would like to be engaged in the Drama Australia community.

Please indicate your interest and ability to commit to this role by emailing Drama Australia's Admin/Business Manager, Marie Ferguson at admin@dramaaustralia.org.au  by 31st August 2017.

The time commitment is approx. 1-2 hours per week with more busy periods at various times close to publication. This is a voluntary role.  If you have any questions about the role or would like to discuss it in more detail, please feel free to contact Rachael Jacobs at r.jacobs@westernsydney.edu.au.
