hosted by Drama Tasmania

from 1pm Friday 21 June to Saturday 22 June / IMAS Building, 20 Castray Esplanade, Salamanca Waterfront, Hobart

On the Winter solstice and the final weekend of Tasmania’s iconic Dark Mofo festival, Australia’s drama education community will have the opportunity to gather.

The program of provocative and cutting-edge research and academic papers, alongside practical and breakout workshops, the Symposium will stimulate, regenerate and revive your thinking and practice.

It is a busy time in Tasmania’s calendar, so Drama Australia recommends you book flights and accommodation as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Renewal will follow a different format to our previous symposiums, there will be a research and practice focus, along with practical workshop options. The symposium will have something to offer to all Drama educators, from primary and secondary teachers, to academics and researchers.  These two days will be spent sharing best practice and research in our field.

Registrations are now open.

We look forward to seeing you in Hobart in June 2019 for Renewal.

The full program & abstracts will be available very soon – please check back for more information.

Early Bird closes 8 April 2019

All registrations close 31 May 2019
