The following areas will be covered: • Unpacking the rubric and key terminology • Strengthening experiential writing ability • Addressing and approaching the essay question A Zoom link will be provided closer to the event.

We will be discovering new methods to revitalise our insights into drama, the future of drama and the questions and tasks we design for our students. As we do so, we will no doubt encounter our own stories, selves, and skills. This conference sets out to connect and inspire our teachers with ‘cutting edge’ practitioners, just as the DSA primary values state.

Shining Light on the Creative Power of Drama invites you to offer a session that reflects the developing and evolving world of Drama and Theatre education through the following themes: Drama Skills & Knowledge - Revive your pedagogy. Support our students to excel in our subject Advocacy - Strategies to reinvent and revive Drama in your schools Wellness - Strategies for teacher and student wellness than can be transferred into the classroom. Ideas could include: Safe and supportive classroom environment Time management and planning Intimacy in Drama Teaching through Embodiment - Application of Drama for Cross Curriculum Teaching and Learning and using embodied pedagogies to enhance the teaching and learning of the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. Academic Research on any of the above.
